Welcome to Auburn Town Pizza

an Auburn dining landmark since 1964.

Town Pizza opened in 1964 as a small carryout location, owned by Steven Mello. Today's owner, Dimos "Jimmy" Velentzas started working with Mr. Mello at Town Pizza in 1973 after immigrating to the United States from Greece. Mentoring from Mr. Mello, Jimmy worked tirelessly to learn the business.   He began his ownership in 1982 and expanded the business to include dine-in seating and delivery service.   He continues to this day to be found in the kitchen making sauce, dough and overseeing the kitchen operations.   Making business a family affair, Jimmy is assisted at Town Pizza by his wife, Chris, and their daughter Evangelia.   Better known to regulars as Lika, Evangelia has assisted her parents for 16 years and continues the family run legacy at Town Pizza.

Town Pizza has established its reputation by preparing great food at affordable prices.   They use only fresh, quality ingredients and preparing many of the key items from scratch. A short list of these items includes: the pizza & pasta sauces, pizza dough, meatballs and the Syrian bread used for making pockets.
